Atlanime is a FREE non-profit anime fan club in the metro-area of Atlanta, Georgia. We meet regularly every month. We've been an active member in the local anime community for over 9 years, and receives lots of sponsorship from various anime/manga dealers and distributors. (MEETINGS): We meet at The Dragon's Horde on 5615 Memorial Dr., Ste. E, Stone Mountain, GA. 30083. Phone: 404-298-1188(email). Meetings are held for 2 hours every month where we screen anime and other animated features such as TV shows, OVAs, & movies. Only translated anime is shown, dubbed or subtitled. We don't show raw Japanese anime, or hentai. We also go over club issues and current anime news.


(RULES): Here's some guidelines that apply to all members of Atlanime:
*You must be at least 14 years old to join, unless given permission to by an elder.
*Members with babies and infants are asked to please not bring them to meetings.
*No smoking or drinking alcohol in the meeting area during meetings.
*No disruptive behavior or foul language.
*No cosplaying, except for special events).
*Don't make requests to show hentai. We can't show it!
*Keep talking to a minimum while we are playing anime.
*No sleeping is allowed during the meetings.
*No gaming or playing of video games during the meetings.
*Refrain from bringing large bags like backpacks and portfolios.
*Cell phones and pagers must be turned off during the meetings.

(MEMBERSHIP): To qualify for full membership, you must fill out an application form which is available at each meeting. Come to 1 meeting, sign the form, and then attend 1 other meeting after that to get your member's card. You don't have to come to 2 meetings in a row, but 2 altogether. Each member will recieve an Atlanime card that can be used to recieve discounts at certain local anime and comics stores. Members will also be allowed to borrow from the club's library. As long as you are a member of Atlanime, you can present your member's card at these locations to recieve discounts. If for some reason you leave the club or your membership is revoked, then you'll no longer qualify for Atlanime discounts.

(DVD LIBRARY): We have a library of DVDs that active members can access. Only up to 2 can be borrowed between meetings that must be returned by the following meeting. To not return on time results in loss of privileges to borrow until the next meeting they attend. If DVDs aren't returned within 3 months time, their membership will be revoked. No DVDs can be borrowed by those who already have some checked out. Any DVDs that become broken, stolen, or go missing during while checked out must be replaced. To check out DVDs, members have to put down a one-time deposit of $5.00, or donate a title to the library that we don't have.
